Who should undergo a rectal exam?
- History of anal sex
- History of anal warts
- HIV or HPV infection
- History of cervical or vaginal cancer
- History of organ transplantation due to immunosuppressive medications
- People with no known risk factors but who want to determine if they have a rectal disease

Preparation before service - Health screening recommendations
- Fast forward from food and drink for at least 8-10 hours (water is allowed)
- Avoid using suppositories or vaginal medications at least 48 hours before the examination.
- Avoid sexual intercourse 24 hours before the examination.
- Abstain from alcohol for 24 hours
- Get adequate sleep, at least 6 hours
- (If applicable) Other health history: Bring test results
- (If applicable) Information about any underlying medical conditions should be provided prior to the exam.
- Pregnant or suspected pregnant women: Inform the staff prior to the exam.

- The above price includes the doctor's fee and hospital service fee.
- This price does not include additional testing fees if any abnormalities are detected. Please make an appointment at least 1 day in advance.
- Nakhonthon Hospital receipts cannot be issued until after service has been received.
- Services are available at Nakhonthon Hospital (Rama 2) only.
