Boostrix (Tdap) vaccine 1 dose
Recommended age: 11 years and older and pregnant women from 27 weeks of pregnancy.

Who should receive the Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine?

In addition to children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly should also receive the vaccine. The following recommendations are available:

For ages 11-18 the Tdap vaccine is recommended at age 11 or 12 (children who have not received the DTaP vaccine can receive it starting at age 7). For children and adolescents who have not received all doses of DTaP by age 7, a Td (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccine and Tdap should be administered.
For ages 19-64 at least one Tdap dose is recommended during life. After that, receive a tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine or a tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Td) vaccine every 10 years.
People 65 and older may receive only one Tdap booster shot.

Adults and seniors who have never been vaccinated before should receive at least three doses of a diphtheria and tetanus vaccine.

The first dose can be administered immediately.
The second doses should be at least one month after the first dose.
The third doses should be at least six months after the second dose.

It is recommended that the first dose be a diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis vaccine (Tdap). The second and third doses can be either a diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis vaccine (Tdap) or a diphtheria and tetanus vaccine (Td).

Who should avoid or abstain from vaccination?

Those who have had a severe allergic reaction.
Those who have experienced brain disorders, such as coma, decreased consciousness, or prolonged unexplained seizures, within seven days of the previous dose.

Note

If you experience a fever or are unwell, it is recommended to wait until your symptoms improve before getting vaccinated.
If you have a history of allergic reactions to any medications, inform your doctor before getting vaccinated.

Preparation for Services - Recommendations for a Health Examination

Get adequate sleep, at least 6 hours.
(If applicable) Bring any other medical history and test results.
(If applicable) Please inform us of any underlying medical conditions before the examination.
If pregnant or suspected pregnant, please inform the staff before the examination.
