Who is eligible for this service?

• Recommended age group: Under 18 years old
• Those at risk of infection through blood and bodily fluids, such as close contact with an infected person, healthcare personnel, injecting drug users, patients with kidney disease requiring dialysis
• Those at other risk factors, such as travel to areas with hepatitis B outbreaks, diabetes, chronic hepatitis, or HIV infection

Possible side effects

• The hepatitis B vaccination is highly safe and has no serious side effects.
• You may experience a low-grade fever for 1-2 days.
• You may experience pain or a rash at the injection site.

Note

• If you experience a fever or are unwell, it is recommended to wait until your symptoms improve before getting vaccinated.
• If you have a history of allergic reactions to any medications, inform your doctor before getting vaccinated.
• Please inform your nearest branch of service availability via the Requests / Additional Information / Notes section.

Preparation for Services - Recommendations for a Health Examination

• Bring your child's vaccination booklet with you every time you receive services.
• Get adequate sleep, at least 6 hours.
• (If applicable) Bring any other medical history and test results.
• (If applicable) Please inform us of any underlying medical conditions before the examination.
• If pregnant or suspected pregnant, please inform the staff before the examination.
