Vaccination

• Adults 50 years and older **The second dose should be administered 2-6 months after the first dose.**
• Ages 18 years and older with immunocompromised or immunocompromised individuals **The second dose should be administered 1-2 months after the first dose.**

Vaccine Effectiveness

• 97% protection against shingles
• 91.2% protection against post-shingles neuropathic pain
• Receive two doses of the vaccine and immunity may last up to 10 years.
