Package Details

• Chickenpox vaccine 1 dose
• Recommended age: 1 year and older.
• Children under 13 years of age should receive two doses of the vaccine: the first dose at 12-18 months of age and the second dose at 4 years of age, or at least 3 months after the first dose.
• Adolescents and adults 13 years of age and older should receive two doses of the vaccine, spaced at least 1 month apart.

Who should avoid chickenpox vaccine?

• Have had a severe allergic reaction to a previous chickenpox vaccine.
• Allergy to gelatin or the antibiotic neomycin.
• People with severely compromised immune systems.
• Pregnant women.

Note

• If you experience a fever or are unwell, it is recommended to wait until your symptoms improve before getting vaccinated.
• If you have a history of allergic reactions to any medications, inform your doctor before getting vaccinated.
