Service details
- For women aged 21 and over
- Service time is approximately 30-45 minutes.
- It is an examination using an ultrasound machine inserted through the vagina
- Results is about 1-2 weeks. The staff will call to inform the result from the phone number provided.
Preparation before receiving service
- 1. You should receive the service during a period without your period or check between 5 - 7 days after your period ends.
- 2. Do not use vaginal suppositories, creams, or spermicides in the vagina 48 hours before the test.
- 3. Do not douche the vagina before the examination.
- 4. Do not have sex 24 hours before the test.
Note
Who should be screened for cervical cancer
- women who had sex at a younger age
- Women who have multiple sexual partners or have sex with men who have multiple sexual partners
- Women who have been taking oral contraceptives for a long time (Especially if it is longer than 5 years because of the high risk)
- Women who have had more than 4 pregnancies and deliveries
- Women with a history of sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, etc.
- Smoking woman
- Women who lack of cervical cancer screening
- Women who lack certain nutrients especially those who eat less vegetables and fruits
Contraindications for cervical cancer screening
- Women who have menstruation should perform checking after period is finished 7 days
