Who is a breast ultrasound suitable for? And how is it performed?
- This method is suitable for those with very dense breasts and those under 25 years of age who have not yet been able to detect calcifications. It allows the doctor to see the breast tissue. This also applies to pregnant women, those who are breastfeeding, and those who have had breast augmentation.
- The examination procedure is similar to other ultrasounds. The transducer is placed on the skin and a projected image is displayed on a screen. The doctor will record the images for further analysis.
Preparation for Service
- Patients can eat and drink normally.
- Do not apply powder, lotion, deodorant, or spray on the breasts or armpits.

- If you have had breast augmentation or other breast abnormalities, please inform the examining doctor.
